BBBEE Strategist

I am an Expert in corporate strategy development, Broad-Based Black Economic (BBBEE), empowerment implementation and scorecard optimisation. I am a qualified Specialist in the facilitation and implementation of Enterprise Development and Supplier Development (ESD) programs.

I have over 10 000 hours of formalised BBBEE training at top South African institutes and has consulted on organisational empowerment initiatives to many medium and large-sized South African and multi-national businesses. I have successfully implemented empowerment initiatives for over 60 companies with a combined value of R60 million supporting 107 SMMEs and resulting in 346 direct and indirect jobs.

I am a Certified BBBEE Champion, BBBEE Master, BBBEE Empowerment Technician and BBBEE Empowerment Advisor. I am also a SETA accredited Transformation Practitioner, I have completed the Management Development Programme in BBBEE at UNISA School of Business Leadership and is a member of the Association of BEE Verification Agencies (ABVA) and Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE).

Further to I have studied Commercial Law at UNISA and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Operations at Wits Business School. I am also a published author, motivational speaker, mentor on Sales & Self Improvement and a founding Member of the Enterprise Supplier Development Council of Southern Africa (ESDC).

I have also advised on Namibia’s New Equitable Economic Empowerment Framework (NEEEF), Citizen Economic Empowerment (CEE) in Mozambique, Zambia and Botswana as well as Zimbabwe’s National Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment (NIEE) policies.
