About the product
Solid Roller Shutter Doors
Roller Shutter Doors are widely used in the building industry from simple applications such as serving hatches and shop fronts to heavy-duty electrical operated doors.
Roller Shutter Doors consist of steel interlocking slats, which form a continuous hinged curtain. This construction allows the curtain to roll up or down as it is raised or lowered onto a revolving spring-loaded barrel, which is mounted onto steel support end plate brackets. A bottom T-bar is fitted to the curtain to strengthen the curtain and allows for the fitment of handles and locking devices. The curtain is also prevented from moving side-ways by side channels or guides. The entire assembly is either bolted or welded to the structure and the rolling mechanism is enclosed in a canopy.
Features:
• The most effective use of space permitting optimum use of the opening
• Custom manufacturing of each door to meet the specific requirement of client, site specifications and application.
• Every door has a built-in counter balancing mechanism that allows for a practically effortless operation.
• Durability, robust and proven reliability
• Doors are available in galvanized steel or can be powder coated to a wide range of standard and special colours.
• There are 4 different operations available: Push Up, Chain, Gear and Electrical options
• Doors are available in either 45mm or 76mm broad slats
• Doors are available in 0.8mm, 1mm and 1,2mm thick slats
