Adobe Photoshop Essential Skills (4 weeks)
Pre-requisite: None
Adobe InDesign Essential Skills (4 weeks)
Pre-requisite: None
Adobe Illustrator Essential Skills (4 weeks)
Pre-requisite: None
Finishing Art for Designers (1 week)
Pre-requisite: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Essential Skills or equivalent work experience.
Learn to create printed visual communication that is compelling and professional. Create stunning visual effects using a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator’s powerful tools. Learn concepts and techniques to create professional posters, brochures, flyers and packaging and more. Build foundational skills that allow you to explore graphic creation for fields such as fashion design and interior design too.
Modules include: Introduction to the field of print publishing, applications and processes, terminology and concepts, working with digital text, working with raster based imagery, building vector graphics and vector effects (Adobe Illustrator), building single and multiple page layouts process (Adobe Indesign), Prepress & Print software specific terminology & preferences, Design and publishing workflows with Adobe Acrobat, Co-ordinating professional print jobs, using Stock photos, Fonts & Rights.
Courses run back to back, 3 evenings a week (Mon, Tue, Wed).
Please note that the courses can be completed independently of one another, and one can join the 3 month course at the start of any module, except for the Finishing Art which requires all three software applications to be completed as a prerequisite.
A course discount is applicable, however, when all three course modules are booked simultaneously.
