Grates magnets also known as grid magnets are used for the removal of fine and general tramp iron to protect a product from metal contamination. The range of grate magnets is manufactured from ferrite or rare earth magnetic tubes, depending on customer’s application requirements.
Most commonly installed into hoppers, chutes and ducts, magnetic tubes and grids are often used for applications in the food processing and ceramics industries.
The grates are available in a range of circular or square housings to meet a customer’s individual requirements.
Optionally, a grate can be constructed with an easy clean draw system or an automatic pneumatic cleaning device to reduce production downtime.
