The standout being the large 3D arbor design with a specially designed recess for additional backing, coupled with a great multi layered disc drag. Lightweight and strong the REEL XL can also now be fitted with optional high end silky smooth operating “hybrid ceramic|stainless steel deep groove ball bearings that are shielded. These bearings are basically maintenance free, and being constructed from a mix of ceramic and stainless steel are almost impervious to corrosion.
