Aluminium windows are available in a variety of different colors such as white, natural, charcoal and bronze, with different styles and sizes to choose from. The aluminium windows have effective seals which make the windows draft free and water tight. The double glazed window is optional. The types of aluminium windows available:
Top-hung window:
The hinge is on the top of the outer frame, allowing the window to swing outwards or remain open in any position by quality friction stays. The sizes range from 600 mm to 2.4m wide. The top-hung window allows you to direct the breeze to any part of your home.
Side hung window:
The window is fixed to the left or right of the frame, allowing the window to open side wards (outwards). The sizes range from 600 mm to 2.4m wide.
Horizontal sliding window:
The window is designed to slide horizontally within the frame. It can have 2-4 panels sliding left or right. The horizontal sliding windows include two types:
1. 500 series
This can be used internal and external in moderate weather conditions. It is light duty and it comes with a nylon lock. The sizes range from 900 mm wide to 3.6m wide. The 500 series is also a multi sliding window.
2. Elite sliding
This would be used for outside as it is more weather resistant and better quality. It is heavy duty and it comes with a stainless steel locking system. The sizes range from 900 mm wide to 4.8m wide. The elite sliding window is also a multi sliding window.
