Job vacancy Senior Dynamics 365 Developer

Our client is looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to join their team in Cape Town (Hybrid) .  As a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer , you will play a pivotal role within their team, contributing to the deployment, maintenance, and support of Dynamics NAV and Business Central across their global enterprise. Your responsibilities will encompass technical oversight of the ERP system, including its ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance.

As a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer in Cape Town (Hybrid) , your job responsibilities will include:

• Actively engage in the deployment of Nav and Business Central software throughout the organization, employing a hands-on development approach.
• Design, develop, and maintain integration functionalities within existing business platforms.
• Produce and manage technical documentation pertaining to customization, integrations, and system developments.
• Contribute to the management and governance of our Global Software Environments.
• Assist in the implementation of new functionalities and software updates.
• Provide support to end users across all subsidiaries, ensuring their needs are met in line with service level agreements.
• Ensure uninterrupted accessibility to the Dynamics NAV and Business Central system for all users, identifying areas for improvement and proposing necessary enhancements.
• Undertake additional duties as required, such as BI and Reporting functions.

Requirements for this Senior Dynamics 365 Developer role in Cape Town (Hybrid) include:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Preferred degree, diploma, or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, C#, Stored Procedures, and Visual Studio is advantageous.
• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Development is desirable.
• Experience with Power Platform tools, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
• Proficiency in web services and API integrations.
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications, including an understanding of application insights and their associated TSG’s.
• Background in Power Platform development is desirable.
• Previous experience in integration development for NAV or Business Central.
• Knowledge of development methodologies and patterns.
