Job vacancy Chemical Dosing Technician

Cape Town - Cape Flats (Maccassar - Landsdowne)

Our client is seeking a chemical dosing technician to set up machinery. The candidate needs to be interested in learning new things and would enjoy working with drawings. Consideration will be given to boilermakers, plumbers, welders and fitter & turners.

Requirements:

• MUST already live in Cape Town
• Own reliable vehicle for to and from work.
• technical and/or mechanical background/qualification
• N1–N3 and/or N4–N6 certificate, focusing on the theory of fitting, turning, and machining.
• Strong basic technical and engineering abilities.
• Proven manufacturing skills, troubleshooting abilities and engineering knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in site installations, manufacturing & assembly.
• Valid and unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license.
• Can communicate well in both English & Afrikaans.
• On occasions can travel for work for a week or two.

Salary:

• CTC R 15 000 to R 20 000 depending on experience and qualifications.
• 3% of Basic Salary towards Retirement Annuity
• R250 towards Medical Insurance
• 13th Cheque (Management Discretion)

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7:45 to 16:45
• Friday - 8:00 to 15:00
• Christmas holiday (10 days) from 15 December.
