Job Title: Estimator & Service Consultant
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in estimating and/or service consulting roles, or sales preferably in a technical industry/sector. Beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software/tools and excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to clients and internal teams.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accurately estimate costs and address service-related challenges. (Training will be provided)
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Estimator Responsibilities:
  • Item Evaluation: Assess requirements, specifications, and scope to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis, considering materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotes, ensuring all client requirements are addressed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and market conditions to ensure competitiveness.
Service Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Coordination: Coordinate service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the service process, maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and client communications.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
