Collection an delivery as per your TV ad and your not the best
Good day I wanted to sell my goods at on of your store s around KZN I was told by your buyback sales person that I must get my own transportation from my home to the shop which I had to pay R250 and that was not the first time my fridge that I bought less then a year ago I sold it bag to the store where I bought it from they offered me the minimum. Three days later I went back there to sell some electrical equipment jus to be told they do not take electrical equipment I took it to the shop around the corner of cash crusaders and they took It with no problem on Friday 05/03 the same thing I took goods to cash crusaders and they offered me low price I the took it again to a pawn shop around the corner and once again I was offered a higher price so it makes me wonder if cash crusaders is as wonder full like the say that are.????

Abuse from the manager Amanzimtoti
As far as I know, the consumer law says that if you mark an item in your store at a certain price (even if incorrectly) the customer has the right to demand that you sell him the product at the market price. On the image you can see the item hanging on a hook with a price above it. When I got to the till, I was asked to pay a higher price.

Without any nastiness I told the sales lady that the price was incorrect. Immediately her attitude changed and I was told, sorry, but that is the price for a different model, and somebody made a mistake by hanging these on the same hook. An Indian lady approached (seems she may be some sort of manager) and got quite stroppy with me when I told her what the law says. Now a simple apology, and a sop story about ‘getting in trouble with the boss’ would have had me becoming a bleeding heart and ‘no problem’, and paying the additional R20.00, which is really not going to break the bank.

Instead I was treated like I was some low-life, begging and making a nuisance of myself. It then got really interesting when the owner arrived and also proceeded to be abusive, and threatening to sue me because I was by this time filming the ordeal. I then did my own research on Google, and it seems this owner is a real charmer – reviews on the internet frequently identify him as rude, and subjecting his clients to similar behaviour as I experienced.

I thought it would be decent to report the matter to Cash Crusaders Head office before posting the video, and giving them the opportunity to do something about their name being dragged through the mud. They did call me once, and asked what I expected – did I want the item at the price on the peg? My answer was no, all I want is a public apology, and perhaps for them to warn this rude man that he will face some sort of sanction, if he brings the Cash Crusaders name into disrepute again (especially as I was obviously not the first).

Well that was the last I heard from them, despite their promise to revert. Suffice to say that Cash Converters Amanzimtoti will not see another cent of my money.

BAD SERVICE-GREENACRES
I had the worst experience with your supposedly service providers. They were not helpful at all and I had to return to the store only to find out I was given incorrect information. I wanted to laybye a TV and was told I needed a tv licence or if I dont have I can buy it with someone else's tv licence as long as I have their I'd copy. My mom then sends me her ID copy and obviously this is now on my emails. They said they cannot assist me with that they needed it printed. That doesn't make sense to me to lose a customer whose worth at that time is R6700 for a printout that is about R2. That is atleast one employees salary gone out the door because I didn't have a print out of the ID.

As I also came back to the shop the second time with the soft copy ID as I was previously instructed by one lady. The guy helping me the 2nd time asks me to go to the lady that was assisting me the 1st time. As he is calling the lady she looks at us and says to the guy Laybye as if a cash sale would have made a difference.

I left there disgusted with the service. I know how a customer should be treated a I have been working at the bank. With the silliest of questions or requests you assist the customer because without them there is no shop and no shop means no job.

False warranty
Hi,

my Name is Agnes Nyakale.

I bought a Twintub machine (Dixon XPB********) on 11 July 2020 in one of your branches around Brakpan.

on the 16th of January 2021 it wasn't working with an issue of spin dry & I had return it back to the shop since it was still under warranty but I was called that they can't fix it without any payment of R905 to fix a motor.

This is totally unfair as I was not told from the first time that warranty doesn't include fixing the machine motor & this false advertisement.

Poor service
I bought a phone for R3000 it started overheating in 2days I took it the store they laughed at me.2 weeks later it stopped working when I went back they say my guarantee is finished all they can do they will book it for repairs. Since then I'm going after them. They even chased me out of the shop

Disappointed at Indifferent Service Received By Station Square Franchise
I have been looking for a Miter saw and through the Facebook Marketplace found an advertisement for a Ryobi saw.
The ad did not indicate that the sale was through Cash Crusaders, on the 17th I replied to the ad enquiring if it was available, Collen Mothapo replied that it was. I offered him R150 extra for transport if he delivered it to me.
He replied, “we just don’t deliver here at Cash Crusaders”.
On the 18th, I supplied Collen my email address and asked him to send me a written quote which should include the cost of shipping the saw through PostNet.
He called back on WhatsApp at 9:21 it was a bad line, we hung up.
I WhatsApp him back and queried the condition of the saw.
Collen WhatsApp called me back at 10:55 to assure me that the saw was in good condition. During the call I asked him to send me his physical address as I would come in on Monday to collect the saw.
I then sent him my cell phone contact number, and separately at 11:32 asked him what his address was.
As I had not received a response to my 11:32 WhatsApp message, I Googled Cash Crusaders in the area that his Facebook map indicated, and called the Sunnyside and Arcadia branches, to be told “Collen does not work here”.
On the 19th at 6:11, I WhatsApp him again to ask him what his physical address was. I did not receive a reply, so at 21:27 I again sent him a WhatsApp message and asked him what his address was.
At 11:26 the following day, Collen WhatsApp called me, and I asked him to supply me his physical address.
On Sunday at 17:11 I WhatsApp him again and asked for his physical address, as on the Monday I had a limited window of opportunity to collect the item.
At 19:38, Collen sent me an out of focus picture of a map, I replied and told him, I could not read it, could he please send me the typed address details? He sent me another out of focus map picture, I again told him I could not read the details, could he please type the details and send it to me so I could enter them into my GPS? He then did so, asked me if I was going to come on Monday, I replied in the affirmative, and he wished me an enjoyable evening.
I then Googled the address he supplied – the Station Square Cash Crusaders does not have a Google pin, but from the area it is located in, I took a decision that as the shop was next door to the railway station, for an elderly European, who had no idea what the parking situation was, I decided I was not going to risk it.
On Monday at 08:25, I then WhatsApp Collen and asked him to send me a Cash Crusaders Quote on a company letterhead which should include the cost of delivery using PostNet (who are in the same building) and that when I received the quote I would EFT the funds.
Collen Whatsapp me back, queried if I was coming, assured me the area was safe, asked me if I was coming, I replied NO, and he then told me that I could call the land line, speak to his manager who would supply me with the EFT details.
Collen did not have the courtesy to supply me with the managers name or contact details.
I WhatsApp Collen back “Hi Collen, we seem to be at cross purposes. I sent you my email address, please give it to your manager to send me an official quote on a Cash Crusaders letterhead with all the company details. When I do the EFT I will supply my cell number, name and address for the PostNet document”.
That is the last I heard from Collen.
It is highly unlikely that the saw is still available, but training on how to meet customer needs and concerns, as well as the alternative systems available to Cash Crusader franchises could only benefit the operation.
I also posted on the Cash Crusaders Head Office site, BUT ALAS NOTHING NO RESPONSE.......

I had a horrible experience at cash crusaders I called in to arrange to come collect my items to my surprise I was advised that my staff were already collected ……this is really pathetic I have already opened a case of theft cash crusaders and Max I need my staff ….

Great Service by manager, Amanzimtoti branch
When a manager will go the extra mile you sure to know that specific store will flourish.
Great service and very happy with the manager of Amanzimtoti, South Coast. From the word go I could sense this man is dedicated to his work and to what his doing.

Dishonest staff
I am waiting for more than a week for my refund. I bought a new skateboard and used it for 5 minutes. It broke. I returned it and the manager said he will deposit my refund. To date I have been calling and repeating my story. He never returned the calls. Its unfair that cash crusaders sells new stuff but its reject. Then they go invisible once they made the sale. All dodgy staff who is trained to speak untruths. Head office also promise to look into the matter but they also made false promise and don't respond to the emails or calls. What type of a franchise is this. Don't mislead the customers. Rather name your company buy at own risk as once you walk out the door we don't don't even recognize the the till slip. Completely rotten store
