When are we going to be taken serious, Menlyn taxis at Unisa university its a total mess. You get in a taxi then you communicate with the driver that youre going to marabastard then they take you to unisa then when we get there no taxi driver wants to go to marabastard mind you there 4 to 5 taxis waiting fighting on whose going where and so fourth and at that time we have already paid our taxi fair, the next thing when we go to hiking spots its a problem yet again. Who is is responsible for this menlyn taxis PLEASE intervene we are tired of being late at work because of this taxi drivers.

I was going to menlyn to meet friends and I got on a taxi. Not even a kilometer at the shell garage on Lynnwood the taxi stopped to change passengers. We were urged to pay by the Marshall and I obliged. I got a phone call saying I should no longer go to menlyn because my friends were on their way back to Hatfield. While the taxi was PARKED AND STANDING STILL I asked for my money back because I no longer needed the ride. The marshall said no and the driver was saying I should get my money. The man still refused and I had no choice but to leave my money there. Incident was in a Toyota quantum reg HK 54 CF GP

I HAVE BEEN USING MENLYN TAXIS FOR 8 YEARS , AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES I GOT FROM THE THE DRIVER WHO DRIVES JD 49 CV GP . HE CANT JUST DROP ME ON THE WAY WHERE AM NOT GOING HE SAYS HE DID NOT UNDER WHEN I SAID AM GOING THE GLEN VILLLAGE

Today the 18th of June 2019 a taxi driver driving a taxi with registration number CP 95 CD GP showed no respect to us a passengers. So we got into this taxi at Sunny side and this guy drivers off and we haven't even sat down and the door is not yet closed, he just rushes to get the people at the next stop without even closing the door so when I ask him why are you driving off while we have not sat down and with the door open he was like now you are sitting down Now mus so you complain OK fine the next people get in the taxi and still he drives off while people have not yet sat down, OK it drives on to Charles street and there's that little convoy towards ROper street and I beg him to say please don't turn here as I have to get ofF by the next Robot(roper street) and his response was a rude one he was like "no aketlo kgatla wena na kaya no convoy" so please teach this specific drivers manners his old enough he should have just said no there's convoy there can I please use this street instead of the usual street we use not to say "amazon what's mina" in a taxi full of people and of which I paid him and he was not doing me a favour by using Charles street.

after being told to jump into the taxi by the driver and the queue marshal telling us to jump out and go find a taxi at the back (emuva) several times the same marshal pointed another car to jump into. FC 87 PT GP. this driver then told the 4 people to Moreleta to jump off cause he's only going as far as Menlym Maine. Of course again it was jump in jump out several times. Then with the "4" back in the car we drove off. At cnr Prinsloo and Vermeulen street the four were ordered out of the car by the driver (ngizo thola abantu e ndleleni!). That he did. People to Atterbury and all sorts of directions. We get to Menlyn waited over 15min while the driver waived his hands and gave hand signals and gestures to other taxi drivers. When he returned one lady complained "next time please don't pick us up at the taxi rank only to change your mind/route along the way and waiste our time. Don't mix different routes cause it waists time." He told the lady to climb out his car. the lady requested a refund. He raised his voice at her that's when we all spoke up. demanded our refunds and we would gladly jump out of his car. He pulled down the hand brake and we were on our way. I jumped off at the game entrance bus stop. Had I known I could have just walked and I would have been at work sooner but the other people did not have that option and why should we have to?

I am totally disappointed by the way the association conduct their business , i am one of the victims and have been trying to call on the number provided but it does not go through. I went on to check the reviews by other commuters and i have noticed that you are not taking customer complains seriously and at the same time you do not descipline your drivers, frankly speeking MENLYN TAX ASSOCIATION is the worst association with the worst drivers and the worst treatment in Gauteng .

Just when I also thought the taxi industry is improving for 4 years ive been a loyal menlyn taxi ass passenger but this was a horrrible experience I got this morning after 10h00 am. from central Pretoria to Menlyn.The worst taxi driver ever.This driver was speeding like nobody's business,jumping lanes and robots, with music playing out loud where by he couldnt even hear passengers when they were dropping of. as another lady was on the phone as well he didnt even decrease the volume. this taxi is from the taxi rank we believe the taxi has to take us to were we are going. i dont normally get a taxi from the street to avoid things of get from this taxi to the other. so apparently this guy said his not going to menlyn maine anymore as his taking his own people to garsfontein and he dropped us on the road to atterberry saying he aint going there so i told him to drop me, then after i get off he get off the car AS WELL claiming i pushed his door too hard which i didnt then he started fighting with me where by he grabbed me with my clothes. what kind of a coward man does that to passenger, without us he doesnt have a meal on his table. so well this guys from street came to assist. he started swearing at me using my mothers private parts. this guys doesnt have a respect for his bread and butter. I reported the matter to the marshall and said the will get the guy to come and appologise at my work place. i spoke to my partner AS WELL and im taking this matter to police station cause i believe this is an assult. number plate XDN 174 GP. I then managed to take a pic of the number plate before he took it out, cause he knew his ways of doing.

DN52KF GP. This is the number plate that has finally pushed me to say smthng. Daily we listen to taxi drivers complaining abt this route telling us hw far it is en hw pissed off they are to be driving us there. Making us up to be an inconvinience in their days. Today this driver took us from the rank already pissed off and telling us he will not be dropping us off in the Woodlands mall,but at the robot. I hav been robbed twice at that robot already,and 3girls we had to get off ther amongst abt 8 plastic view boys. Wen we tried asking to be dropped in the mall,a finger was pointed at us that he told us that he wont,so we shouldnt try his patience. Clutching our bags tightly,we had no choice

Could we please be treated like we matter?? This has happened so many times,en today was just the last straw.

Taxi drivers fight amongst themselves and use us passengers and pawns. I realised this when I was attacked physically by a taxi driver for getting onto the "wrong" taxi from central Pretoria to Sunnypark. Frankly,we use OUR money to pay fare,your fights don't include us. I had to compromise my morals as a young lady,swear and fight a taxi driver in public.

Just when I also thought the taxi industry is improving.Such a horrrible experience I got yesterday from central Pretoria to Menlyn.The worst taxi driver ever.This driver was speeding like nobody's business,jumping lanes and robots,Freely smoking in the taxi and his smoke coming straight to my face.I asked him to please smoke when we all jumped out of the taxi because with what he is doing we are all smoking and we are non smokers.He started swearing at me,calling me "Sfebe" and saying we like controlling everything.He threw our change on the floor and carried on swearing.He also did the same thing with a lady who jumped off before us,when she complained that her change wasn't enough.CP12YT GP
