Review of Healing Hands International Centurion

1.0
I paid for the full course as  registered for the Open Access course that consists of 23 subjects for 2 years in Centurion, South Africa * All my e-mails with regards to the following complaints were ignored: * TAX invoice required with Company vat registration no. required as per SARS & registration of any legal operating company. * References to where & who supplied the information in the training manuals are not provided. No page numbers, although index shows this. The training manual is of poor quality as I have read the information, that is lacking information etc. * Attended training (6 classes for 6 weeks): 1st class: was over full & cramped, practical training was not given as planned for these classes. Only theory & a demonstration was given, therefore I did not attend this class, as I read the theory & have seen a demonstration before, so this class would be a waste of time, petrol etc. The student's were only split for the 2nd class. On registration student's should have been informed which dates & times are full to avoid this issue in the 1st place. 2nd class: therapist (trainer?) demonstrates a few techniques at once & student's including myself unsure & have not learnt anything in this class, as one technique should be taught at a time & student's checked to do correctly before next technique learnt. The routine for each can be done at the end. The room was cramped with 5 massage beds, that 2 people can not pass each other when trying to do the massage techniques. The manual does not have any pictures in of each technique & no demonstration dvd provided of techniques either to practice for exam. Students may copy music onto their usb from the therapist's laptop, which is illegal, I bought my selection of cd's specifically for massage. She does not supply a list to student's where to buy massage bed & accessories etc. 3rd class: The therapist agreed to my suggestion of doing only one technique at a time & students then practice this one technique that she checks to ensure each do this correctly. The therapist completely ignored the suggestion to provide proper training & instead she did a complete routine of 10/so steps at once that the students did not follow. I left the class as she is not training the students including myself properly & she did not listen or pay attention to any of the student's or myself to realise the issue & correct it by finding out what & how to teach the class properly. I have a dvd including training manual's with pictures to learn the massage techniques that I bought from other sources, as this institute does not supply the adequate training resources & trainer to teach the classes. Accrediation of institute supplying training manuals, exams & certification, including certificates of trainer & Company VAT or tax number should be presented before registration to avoid disappointment & wasting time & money as Healing hands has proved the bad attitude they have as did not bother responding to resolve any issues.
