I would like to log a formal complaint regarding a Cellphone I bought at exact in Golden Acres mall.
I let the phone battery die before charging it as advised by the sales person , then I charged the battery fully(100%) . I removed the phone from the charger, While using the phone I noticed that the it showed a blank screen intermittently kindly refer to the attached picture I took of the , it showed a blank screen with a key at that point I could not switch off or on so I decided to let the battery die out , while I was waiting for the battery to die out , the phone show chinese coding . the battery finally died. I took the phone to the exact store and when they charged it , it worked however I advised the lady I spoke to that the issue is not the battery but the fact that the phone gives me a blank screen . I bought this phone last Friday . I explained to the lady that the issue is intermittent and I got the sense that she does not know the meaning of the word in a technical environment . I then explained to her that the issue comes and goes .It happens out of the blue . the lady then said when it happens again I must book the phone in . however my understanding when I bought the phone is that if it has technical issues I can return it if it happens within 7 days , I offered the store money so I can top up this phone and get another one a better one preferably . However I was judged when I walked into the store as the lady didn't even want to look at the picture I showed her of what the phone does . I feel scammed and I was sold a faulty cellphone . I assure you that I will escalate this to the highest person and platform I can get at TFG , you cannot be selling faulty things to customers . I kept telling her it's not a battery issue as I work in a technical environment . I am an IT technician and know that when something is affecting a device intermittently you don't just send the customer away , maybe she did that because of the color of my skin , the way I was addressed but again the issue is not the battery don't insult my Intelligence. see the attached and tell me if that's a battery issue and also ask your technical team why this phone would show a blank screen and screen letters that look like Chinese coding . I did not take a picture of that when it happened but took a pic of the blank screen , DO NOT SELL FAULTY THINGS TO CUSTOMERS. Please put it on record that I returned the phone within 7 days

I am experiencing the same problem and I'm so disappointed with exact and their stuff.
I bought my phone 26 July and the following day I noticed some issues and went back to the store. They couldn't help me, they just told me that I can't return the phone , imagine!!!! It was less than 48 hours. They didn't even want to check the phone. I went there again last week they told me to bring the phone the next day and they'll take it to repairs .
I'm so angry, I'm really not happy with this kind of service.
