Question for Efergy Technologies

We have a new E2 Classic. It has only been monitoring for approximately 2 weeks but at midnight on Sat it stopped and the screen now shows "Energy Now,ij ij ij, rr r, kw,or dashes, intermittently.And, needless to say, it is not collecting data. I have tried to Link it again, without success and have removed the batteries and replaced them after 2 hours, also without success. So now what?
