Cape Town Psychotherapy

I am a Sea Point (Cape Town) based, Wits trained Counselling Psychologist. I have special interests in working with complex trauma (Complex PTSD), Anxiety (particularly Social Anxiety and Panic), transient states of dissociation, and personality and relational difficulties.

I work with adolescents and adults, particularly younger men and women. I make use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a type of CBT that focusses on building tolerance for difficult feelings and thoughts, while taking action to what is most important), as well as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (an insight orientated approach that focusses on healing within the therapeutic relationship, encouraging self-understanding and self-acceptance, and promotes a greater awareness and responsibility for one's life and choices).
