SCAM! Gadgetry World and Gadget House
Gadgetry World and Gadget House are both fictitious sites ran by the same scamsters. Beware!

http://www.gadgethouse.co.za/index.php?route=common/home
https://www.gadgetryworld.co.za/

Both sites are constructed the same way, poor grammar and sloppy construction. They also make a number of quick business profiles on sites such as this, tuugo, MarketSpace, yellow pages etc to try give credibility to their shamble. Most if not all the product pictures are from other peoples for sale posts from all over the world or other websites. This was easily discovered by a quick google image search. Additionally this is noticeable when one looks at the background of each picture. It seems each product was photographed in a different setting. The attached photo is an example of one of their products that I found on a dutch Gumtree-Esq website.

They have also infected all our local second hand market places (Gumtree, OLX, JunkMail) with what appear to be personal for sale posts but when you make contact they say they are representatives of one of these websites. They provide a generic name like 'Steve" and when you move over to chatting with them on WhatsApp they have a profile picture with trustworthy looking people. This 'Steve' I dealt with had a profile picture which consisted of three airline pilots and a status "Glory to God", unassumingly to try inspire and lull their victims into a false sense of security. The initial greeting message they send is well worded with good diction and grammar, but as you converse with them the discourse tends to; seem mor like dis, the grammar goes out the window.

Luckily my gut feeling noticed these anomalies before I got anywhere close to a transaction, but I can see how people would fall for their ruse. I am going to spread this message as much as I can in hopes we can quell their reign of tyranny.

Oh yes, both sites seem to use the similar addresses:

Gadget House, 10 Shepstone Street, Queenstown, Eastern Cape, Queenstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa (For Gadget House)

and

Gadgetry world, 18 shepstone st, Queenstown 5320 Eastern Cape South Africa (For Gadgetry World)

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
This is a scam website, nothing about them is real. They operate under the company registration and VAT numbers of another company illegally. I've spoken with the owners of the legitimate company and they have police cases open against them. Please spread the word!

SCAM!!!
This “company” Gadgetry World is out to steal your money!
They sell electronics for nearly 50% of the usual cost and seem very legit. I was hooked by a guy called Richard on OLX and he introduced me to their website. On the website you register and a woman by the name Niomi respond via email and phone calls and sends an invoice for payment which loogs legit.
Once they realise that you have paid, they make up some nonsence regarding the FEDEX not picking up the package and they will use their personal courier service. They give you a number of the Driver who was Paul in this case and he initially answers the phone but then doesnt deliver and his phone is off after that.
Stay away from Richard, Paul and Niomi from Gadgetry world!! You will not receive your product.
