Lighthouse Spar - East London

When visiting Lighthouse Spar I am always assured of freshly made salads, baked goods and confectionery to satisfy that occasional sweet tooth. Although the aisles are somewhat narrow, this is compensated for by the wide variety of products displayed for easy access. At the fruit juices section there is some tiling which has worn somewhat due to the trolleys and carts being pushed along that area by the staff. The only aspect that rather spoils the experience is the noisy staff who are continually shouting to one another, sometimes over the customers' heads, as if one is not there. I should like to see them being more aware of the clients' presence, and also to avoid brushing against members of the public in passing. One constantly has to make way for them rushing past. It is not just about them doing their work; it is first and foremost about the shopper who is there to purchase their supplies and who is the one paying for the salaries. Always remember this.
