I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to one of your staff members working at OR Tambo International Airport, Emirates Section.

Her name was is ELSIE NKOSI. She assisted me and my family in what would have been a very disastrous event if not for her persistence and knowledge.

We were emigrating to Perth Australia on a work Visa 457, had packed our container and at the airport with the few bags of luggage containing just some clothes and toiletries.

We were stopped at checkin as the passport numbers on the children's passports were reflecting differently to those on the initial visa (our realisation at this point frightening). We had renewed the children's passports as they have expired by the time we actually got to use the visa, which had been granted 2 years prior to us leaving SA. We had not given a second thought to the visa information and relevant passport numbers. We were asked for the expired passports which I had not packed into our personal luggage as they were after-all expired (luckily my husband had photographs on his phone of these). Elsie Nkosi was extremely helpful and went out of her way to assist us to get through this hiccup with ease. It was touch and go for us for at least 2 hrs, but in the end it was sorted through emigration and we had no further problems getting though customs in SA or in Perth.

THANK YOU ElSIE, the little chocolate we bought you would never be able to repay you for your knowledge and kindness in this regard. I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
