Reviews of Forensic Pathology Services - Germiston

My relative passed away on the 18/11/21,while at work and was taken to germiston mortuary. On Monday 22/11/21,we went to identify the body. We were then given a form FPS012, but body will not be released, apparently they need to do some tests.my questions is shouldn't they get consent from the family first since body has been identified. Now we are stuck as a family because result are not yet out, when we call we are told to call in different times. We can't plan a funeral since body is not released yet. The body no# is 3197. The service is very poor and is very disorganized.

M not happy with your service because it's been so long waiting for Ndumiso Manxiwa's cause of death..He died on 24/11/2019 & his postmortem was done on the 27/11/2019 but still didn't get the results.. It's even hard for us as a family to do death certificate at home affairs without results..He was body Number 3085..I will really appreciate if u can send the results via Email
