Useless management
Wetton circle lands down. Placed order 3 times for delivery.After complaints to manager Laeek who said hell send it out immediately. Nothing arrived. I went out and got kfc. After eating our meal. Steers arrived.

I went to steers earlier today and I couldn't be more disappointed in a take-away shop. My order was taken incorrectly and when I complained I was told there is nothing they can do about it because the order was being prepared. I even offered to pay extra but to no avail. This is not service. If I could I would rate 0 stars.

Just my experience.

Piece of chicken advertised as quarter chicken.
I purchased a quarter chicken from STEERS ENGEN OLYMPIC MIDRAND . I received a piece of chicken ( R49) . Service was very disappointing as I usually order from them and have never received such. I was then told to take it up with Famous Brands.

Poor service
The order was taken incorrectly, when I complained the cashier was arrogant. Customers which came in after us received their orders before us, when I asked when are we getting our order I was told by the cashier that they ordered online, I told hin that he is lying since they placed their orders at the counter, When I requested to speak to the manager he rudely replied that he is the manager.
When the received our order one of the milkshakes ordered was the wrong flavor, once again we were treated with disrespect.
This was at CALTEX NOVA Motorst Witbank Steers on 04 August 2021.

Steers Bluff
service absolutely shocking from Steers bluff manager ordered a meal and requested order be delivered even late no issue but hot. Meal delivered ice cold and missing one of the kids chips.

Took this up with driver he said no worries he will return shortly leaving with a R30 tip.

Never arrived????

Rather a phone call promising everything will get re delivered. Did not want this only what I asked for. But happy customer!

But no delivery

10 min later a call from a Indian woman Bluff branch manager. Remember a cold meal delivered and a R10 chips. Thought i would have someone trying to fix the problem on the other end rather I had a woman trying to argue with me as to why I'm wrong and the reason why my food was cold and the order was wrong was my fault. Service excellence was so great I could not bear it any further and cut the call. No refund no corrected order no call back.

And this is the service we get here locally it is absolute shocking to say the least. Business must be so great that you treat customers, paying customers like this. Is bad advertising and poor reviews not even a consequence? I own a service company and pride myself on the selfless service I give out and now know why we are so busy. Business owners giving authority to people who treat their customers like this is shocking to say the least.

Honestly I would never eat at Steers Bluff again. Not because of the food but because of the service.

Disrespectful staff member from Mandini Total Garage Steers.Her name is Nontu.I made a phone order.When i got there its wasnot done.And she refused to come and make me understand why she didnt as a unhappy customer.

Shocking feedback
I tried to pay for my burger using Absa Bank Rewards at Steers in Mogwase. But the cashier didn't know about Rewards and she asked the Manager who said that their branch does not recognize Absa Bank Rewards for payment.

UNHYGIENIC FOOD PREPARATION
I had the most horrendous experience from Steers, Bayswater,Bloemfontein.. I had bitten into a portion of my grilled rib and felt a hair slipping into my mouth. Obviously after clearing my mouth, I examined the rib and yes, four more strands of hair attached to the basting sauce and very thin, minute spirals, some having hair attached, at the bottom of the container... I have been a customer of Steers for many years, but never experienced such filthy, unhygienic and most disgusting conditions. ( my review was noted, and would have been investigated, but to date, not even an apology!!! )

1 hour 45min & still no food
Ordered a meal at 12:31 - its now 14:03 and i still havnt gotten my food - i was told we are sorry we had alot of order, sure i understand but no my food is going to be cold - have you tried cold steers chips they kak... but you think a sorry will fix the issue - I order from steers Bedford almost twice a week and then to get this once again as i been through this before, you workers in that store just simply dont care!!!

shocking service, rude interaction, inedible fopd
The title says it all and in this instance applies to the Fish Hoek Steers. It would be best if the owners of this branch would call me. This is a tight community and business would be much better if staff took pride in what they do. Specially at this time one does not want disadvantage of word of mouth discredits. Pathetic Service from Steers Del Judor Witbank
Not once, but a few times, waited for hours for deliveries. Ordered yesterday 15;15 for pick up at 16h30, waited any way untill 16h50. One of kitchen personel dit NOT HAVE GLOVES ON. I stood and watched her putting the buns in a toaster - WITHOUT GLOVES. They are RUDE, do not TALK to customers, not even to tell them, sorry ...or what the hold up is.... This Steers is PATHETIC!!!!!!!

Rubbish Service
Hi

I have just received appalling service from your steers in Sunnypark in Sunnyside.

I first went to their inlet Milky Lane store to buy ice cream the sales lady Flora and Margaret totally ignored us while they argued about Vaseline that needed to be bought...

Attempted to get their attention and Flora just said “there’s no ice cream” in the same heat of arguement voice she had with Margaret... please check your footage as this happened around 2:40 pm today 11/11/2019.

When they were still at each other we tried to find out how long there won’t be ice cream. . . She said she doesn’t know, later!

I asked if there is ice cream at Steers and she said NO!!!

I still insisted to got to Steers despite being told there’s no ice cream,

We found William there who said there is ice cream.

Though we weren’t familiar with their ice cream menu... we pointed at one with a cake and caramel and he said... “no don’t order that it will be a lot of work for me”

I asked for clarity and he said he’d have to walk all the way to the back of the store to get an ingredient so we must just order something else. I started to laugh because this really sounded like a joke.


But no, he insisted that the back is too far and we must order something else... Margaret came through and we just walked away, deciding to walk to McDonald’s for ice cream!!!

I asked Margaret is this really the service we are receiving and she replied that we must come back tomorrow.

As much as I found this whole service as a joke, I decided no!!! I’m going to tell their manager.

Came back and asked Charity for the manager! She looked everywhere in every store but there was no manager on site.

She gave me the feedback and I asked for an assistant... the joke was on me!!! She called Margaret!!!! Imagine!!! She’s a manager???

I later spoke to Lucia but I realized no, the filth of this service starts with the ones who must lead the service... she seemed to not even empathize!!! So I figured I will email!

Please... this isn’t how I want to be treated... with so much disrespect!!!

Really bad service
We placed an order at 11:09 (of which I have a screenshot) the cashier called at 11:50 to say that they dont do any deliveries... then at 12:25 I called again to find out if my delivery was on it's way or what is happening as we have still not recieved any food as yet. Now at 12:45 WE CALLED AGAIN only to be told by who ever called us that we HAVE to place our order FROM OVER with Mr Delivery which is almost 2 hours late.... I dont understand why we are told they dont deliver we ordered food just last night and the food came no problem... and customer service from that branch was really bad because of the way this person spoke to me. I have always lived going there and getting food but this has really put a sour taste in my mouth from Steers. I'm so sad to actually fill a complaint in because I love your food. And I'm sorry but today i was very very upset and sorry you people have lost a customer.... REALLY !!!

I have order online 3 hours ago and still didn't received my order.

I was in Mitchells Plain Promenade mall last night and wanted to buy my daughter a cone...the shop was rather empty. I stood there (right infront) for 5 minutes, being totally ignored. The cashier felt the need to serve 2 customers before who were collecting their orders, which I had no problem with. I tried to get her attention by saying : excuse me. She turned around, without listening to me, she spoke over me and said : I am serving my other customers. I echoed: "that's all good and well but please acknowledge me". She totally ignored me until another cashier finally came from the back and attended to me. I am so disgusted by the service I have received...totally disappointed!
