Reviews of DIS-CHEM HEAD OFFICE - Midrand

Stepping out sandals are sold for R239 a pair at Dischem. The exact same pair is sold for R89.99 at Pick&Pay (see photo attached). Apart from the differentiating trademarks to show in which stores they are sold, printed inside the sandals, there are NO differences visible to my eyes. I bought a pair from each retailer and scrutinized them. Even if Dischem buys the product for the price Pick&Pay sells it, Dischem's profit is about 165%. I am not only disappointed, I am horrified! I am a frequent shopper at Dischem but this experience will keep me away.

I booked an appointment at the clinic and a lady called Sammatha just called me to inform me if I change my booking I shall get a discount as there is a special running until 9 Oct. The fact that she took the time to call me is just fantastic service. Well done Dischem

I have send an e-mail to The Glen stating that i witnessed a staff member tested with the fever machine all over his face and it kept showing RED. He was still allowed inside! No response. This was more than seven days ago?

I visited Dis-chem Princess Crossing on 11 May 2020. There was a queue stretching halfway up the pavement. The security guards were supposedly controlling the number of people entering the premises. The problem was that they were so busy talking and laughing with each other, that they were letting 5 people come out and still not letting people in. When questioned and told but people have come out their answer was "we do not work that way" Their behaviour was disrespectful to Dis-chem's customers and I walked away. I will tell anyone who cares to listen about Dis-chem staff's behaviour and will never shop there in the future!

I phoned the Headoffice yesterday the 28th April 2020, they said is must send an email to their clinic Team which I did , No one responded, Today I phoned again, the lady transferred me to the Clinic, was told to hold for 8 minutes which I did, no one answered, I tried over and over , still nothing, imagine waiting for your results since Thursday, sleepless nights and all that , I should have gone to the government Clinic.

I'm a loyal customer of dischem in Newton Park port Elizabeth. I went there about 4 weeks ago looking for Revlon 2in one foundation and I was looking for caramel so the lady there said they don't have she will try another branch even if she can get another shade that can be close to what I wanted which was toast. She got it at walmer branch so I asked her to request them to bring it to Newton Park that was fine so she promised to call me when she received it. Up until yesterday almost a month waiting for the call i asked her why you didn't call me I've been waiting for the month for you to call me what was the reason to take my details but you didn't do anything about them. She said I called you and your phone was on voice mail. I said don't lie my phone is on all the time. I asked her did you try to call me again the following day she said No and she said she lost the piece of paper she wrote my details on. Wooooow I'm so disappointed I spend so much money every month in this company and this is the service I'm going to get it's just not acceptable. Worse part I reported this to the manager she said can I get you someone else to assist you she took me to the same person I gave up I walked out telling myself I'm going to look for a place where I can buy my toiletry and cosmetics. Done with dischem.

Hi, yesterday we went to Clearwater Mall to weigh our baby. We were told by numerous sisters in dischem clearwater and other dischem branches that their trading hours Monday to Friday is until 16h30 for the baby clinic. Yesterday when we got to the clinic at 16h16 it was closed

This was completely a waste of my time as no one in the store could assist me or even help when I asked. I have been a valued customer for many years but it seems like I need to take my business to a store that really wants it
