Company description
My name is Lee Hoyle from Melkbosstrand and I am an avid DTP (Desktop Publishing) graphic designer with over 15 years experience in the design field, specializing in Corel Draw. I have started off with Corel Draw 3 many years ago and I fell in love with this particular program. I am currently using Corel Draw X4 (14) to design in!

I am not like other graphic designers who design just as work, but I am so passionate about designing, that I sleep at night thinking of it and when I wake up I keep thinking about it. Many people think that I am weird constantly thinking of designing and often when I walk past a design, I keep on thinking on how to improve it for the clientele. Like I say; I am so passionate about it!

I have done many designs, even in my previous design business before my
Show more car accident which I will tell you in a few moments. Prior to my car accident, I had a many satisfied customers. But after my car accident, I had to “sell” myself again, but there is one problem and that problem is my speech clarity which had been affected. Recently I looked into a magazine and I had noticed the logo I designed some time ago for “Mampoer Bar” in Parklands and I felt quite proud to see my logo design!

Coming back to my car accident before I forget it; I was involved in a serious car accident nearly a decade ago, which had left me disabled. My disability is that the clarity of my speech had been affected and I also had lost a life, but funny enough no broken bones. Honestly, I never had a broken bone in my life… not yet that is 

I also did some international design work and in this case I did an application design for Virgin Management in the UK, where I got a testimonial from Virgin in the UK and a complimentary letter in a signed book from Sir Richard Branson himself. They are so happy with my work, that they had also sent me a nice gift!

Although I’m not the cheapest or least expensive, depending on how the people read it, but also I’m not the most expensive. Sure, you get design studios that will charge less, but the initial design is not satisfactory, so the end price will be more than the clientele would anticipate. The same as design studios that charge more than me; if the initial design is not satisfactory, the designer will charge more until the client is fully satisfied. I charge a competitive R 250 an hour and have fixed prices and I produce superb graphics to the customer’s satisfaction the first time round!

If you would like more information about me, my services, testimonials, and portfolio or just want to chat about my general design work, I would be very appreciated if you could come to Melkbosstrand for a coffee and a chat. I work from home at the mean time and I don’t drive at this current stage, although I have my driver’s now for 10 years, but due to car accident I have no car at the moment. Also please understand that I ONLY do the design work, due to past misunderstandings between the clientele and the printers!

Please also understand that my speech clarity has been temporarily affected. I’m self conscious about my speech :-)
