APC CEMENT - Soweto

The roots of the APC group traces back to a small aggregate supplier named Super Sand (1979), which screened and graded various types of sand. As time progressed stone crushing was also added to the repertoire.

Those basic commodities led to the establishment of a wholesale builders yard supplying sand, stone, bricks and cement to hardware stores and building contractors.

The company's headquarters were moved to Soweto, from where value was added in the form of ready-mixed concrete on site. Brick-making followed in due course to cater for cement-bricks, blocks, maxis and pavers. Ultimately a specialized blending facility was established in 2005 to supply tile adhesives, road stabilizers and various cements.
