The fund will function as a facilitator of funds generated from national and international capital markets toward Provincial infrastructure development, offering investors the opportunity to contribute substantially toward the economy, gain a good return on their investment, as well as access profitable development projects that would ordinarily have been restricted to the domain of the GPG. This strategic partnership between the GPG and capital investors is designed to accelerate service delivery and advance the objectives of the Gauteng Growth and Development Strategy. The Gauteng Fund Project Office was established to address the funds administrative needs.
