In addition to the core team OTB has an experienced technical department along with production managers and artist liaison. We have done productions in every major city in South Africa. We have offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg with the ability to setup in any location our client requests, in the country and beyond. Out the Box Productions started with Christopher de Vries who still maintains a hands on approach to all events and his team has grown to include Dominique Newman, head of logistics and production, along with Gislaine Fittock who heads up special projects and manages to accommodate every eccentric artist and client request. Public space events will always remain our forte and if the last two Presidential inaugurations, the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival and the Freedom Day Celebrations 2010 are anything to go by, we’ve been told we pretty good at it. We measure the success of any event not by how quickly we handle a crisis when it arises but rather the absence of any disaster from our events due to meticulous pre-planning and discipline. Our portfolio of events includes several international music artists including Tania Maria, R&B superstars K-Ci and JoJo, Jonathan Butler, crooners The O’Jays and the voice of the Fugees, Lauryn Hill. Working with international artists brings a new dynamic to the production which adds to our ever growing experience.
