Born and raised in Kitwe, Zambia, Caitlin has never been seriously classically trained but her place is undoubtedly on the stage with her electric violin. Her live performance is an all-round entertainment experience with a repertoire focused around show pieces; hard-dance remixes of recognizable classics; rock anthems and crowd-pleasing classical-pop. It’s clear to all who see her that Caitlin lives for the spotlight, she flaunts the meaning of ‘electric’ and doesn’t just play electric violin, a trait that makes her stand out time and time again. Distortion, harmonizers and other special effects coupled with a wild stage-presence makes for a truly ‘electrifying’ show – and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
