NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL - Johannesburg

The philosophy of the school is for every child to receive a quality Christian education without discrimination in any form. It aims to espouse high moral and spiritual standards. The school also seeks to serve the surrounding community in an evangelical nature. Children need not necessarily come from Christian homes. However, parents must agree to their child receiving Bible education, attending assemblies and adhering to the code of conduct. Originally stand 881 in Northcliff, the site on which Northwest Christian School is built, was the cradle of several TED schools in the area. It occupies a convenient position between arterial routes serving the northern and western suburbs. The school initially consisted of several prefab classrooms and many of the neighbouring schools commenced

in these buildings while their own premises were being built. For some time the school stood vacant during which time the Cresta Aftercare used its facilities. Northwest Christian School comprises a team of dedicated educationalists and secretarial staff of the highest calibre who are also committed to instilling Christian principles in the area of education, as well as in the day-to-day operation of the school. There is a high level of commitment within the school council and wonderful teamwork within the active Parents' Association.
