PARKER COTTAGE - Cape Town

Parker is a social guest house but only as much as you want to be sociable. There are two guest lounges and a wonderful sunny veranda for breakfasts and our wine evenings – which occur twice a week and are totally free. Breakfast starts at eight and goes on until whenever: we like people to spend hours over breakfast. And there`s more: at Parker, we are striving to combine luxurious hospitality and accommodation with an active concern for the society and the environment, a first for Cape Town. We want to show that luxurious accommodation does not have to cost the resources of the earth or its people: by 2015, Parker aims to be ‘off-grid’ for water heating, electricity, water and sewage and recycling 90% of our waste. We are passionate about the people of this country and Cape Town and are involved in several social upliftment projects we personally manage or sponsor.
