Trading commenced in September 1995, under the name of Siza Air-conditioning Contractors cc, focusing on industrial air conditioning installation sub-contract work, primarily in the textile and motor industry in South Africa and neighboring countries. The business expanded and in 1996 a sheet metal shop was opened to undertake the design and fabrication of ducting and other items relating to air control installations, as well as various types of light engineering work. The business was restructured in March 1999 and trading continued under the name of AVANTE FABRICATORS. The present staff compliment is thirteen - two management, one foreman, and ten skilled / semiskilled assistants - and a pleasant working environment is provided for all.
