MERKEL'S BUILDER'S

Merkels is used by all builders, from small contractors to large Quantity Surveyors and construction companies, as well as local, provincial and national government departments, e.g. Depart of Public Works. Merkels provides labour costs, material costs, and a section that adds the components together and calculates profit. Merkels prices are customised at this stage for Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Merkels prices reflect the list prices and not discounted prices. They would therefore be used by both the tender specifier and applicant. Merkels has recently been acquired by PPIS from Johnnic who are issuing the publication on a CD-ROM. Print copies will be available only on request. The publication will be updated throughout the year with clients downloading updates from the web site. The entire publication is searchable using an easy index.
