Agro-industries Auxiliary services in these industries A clearly defined strategy is in place to build the Johannesburg head-quartered company to its highest potential for the benefit of all its stakeholders as well as its business associates and partners. The current shareholders of IL Holdings came together in 1997 to tender for the assets of Aventura Resorts through the South African government’s privatization initiatives. This resulted in the formation of a vehicle which would represent the traditional authorities in the tendering consortium. Although the consortium was not successful in the Aventura Resorts tender process, they were, however, awarded second preferred bidder status. This exercise resulted in the formal establishment of IL Holdings as a BBBEE company in 1999.
