Auspex Property’s first project comprising of an upmarket apartment building on Brookes Hill, elicited an excellent market response and was so successful that it earned a Sapoa Port Elizabeth Property Award in 2007. Another trendsetting residential development, The Pearls followed and Auspex Property then embarked on the development of a five-star international hotel on Port Elizabeth’s beachfront—the Radisson Blu Hotel Port Elizabeth (part of the Rezidor Hotel Group – currently Europe’s second largest hotel group) This already iconic landmark opened its doors to the public in June 2009 and is setting new standards in the hospitality industry in the Eastern Cape. challenges. In 2009 Ben took Auspex Property to new heights and amongst other accolades was awarded the 2009 Sapoa over-all winner award for the Eastern Cape, with the magnificent Radisson Blu Hotel. The hotel will now go on to compete in the national event taking place in Gauteng in 2010.
