KHUMULA GAME LODGE

Relax at the pool, enjoy a delicious meal at our restaurant, take a long walk in the veld and enjoy nature, the game and prolific bird life or settle down at the dam and enjoy a afternoon of fishing (bass and kurper – strictly catch and release). Khumula is also an excellent choice for brainstorming and team building with its conference facilities suitable for up to 40 people. The nearest Golf course is at the Tubatse Village Club +/- 25km from the lodge. For Quad enthusiasts, there is a endurance trail nearby. Khumula is situated on the border of the Limpopo Province and the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. It is only a 5 minute drive from Burgersfort and lies between this bustling town and the mining community of Steelpoort. Burgersfort is 60 km north of Lydenburg (Mashishing),

170 km north west of Middelburg and 150 km south of Pietersburg (Polokwane). Here at Khumula we have a wide variety of game including Impala, Kudu, Duiker, Eland, Wildebeest and Giraffe. Some of the animals are tamed and can be seen around the lodge and dams. But for those who enjoy a nice walk to experience nature at its best, you are more than welcome to try out our trails on foot or with your mountain bike.
