Regulation

About the product
From time to time, pianos go out of regulation.
This means that the functioning parts of the piano become worn from playing or temperature and humidity changes, and the occasional roadant, that the relation between the parts gets further away from the manufacturer's specifications.
The timing goes astray, and it doesn't play well anymore.
We can correct the timing and the relationship between parts, and fix any sticking keys, etc., by what we call regulation.
Read up more about regulation and general piano care on my website.

The regulation process takes time and consentration.
For uprights, we do the service in the home, at the piano.
For grands, however, we need to take the playing mechanism to our shop, and then the last phase of it, at the piano, to make sure everything is working fine.
