Music Production & Sound Engineering Courses
This course is based on exploring current and emerging technologies relating to audio production, and how these can be used to create music and sound for many applications. To achieve this we have a range of high quality studios and performance spaces on campus that act as catalysts for the creative application of technology.
Requirements:
A Grade 12 certificate with a diploma pass
An achievement of 40% – 49% in 4 credit-bearing Matric subjects
Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy and English
Age exemption (23 years or older)
If you are older than 45 without a matric, then you can apply for conditional exemption
If you are a foreign student, without English as first language, contact us to see how you qualify

Time you will spend on the course
This is a three-year course, with the option to attend either full-time or part-time classes during the week. A year planner and academic calendar is available at the start of the year with dates and times of classes and campus activities to help you plan your schedule.
