Detail:Overview:
Take initiative and responsibility for purchasing, receiving, distributing, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the store.
2. Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Developing and implementing organizing systems to avoid any unnecessary paperwork.
4. Managing and maintaining the store's inventory.
5. Devising strategies to ensure the correct amount and type of stock are available at required times.
6. Liaising with suppliers and negotiating contracts to get the best possible prices.
7. Preparing detailed reports on buying trends, customer needs, and profits.
8. Conducting regular audits to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or similar roles.
2. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
3. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with data entry and record keeping.
4. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
5. Must have the ability to work under pressure and multitask.
6. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
