Hair Transplants

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure carried out under local anaesthetic , whereby hair is taken from a donor site normally the back or sides of the patients head (as this hair is not affected by male pattern baldness)It is then taken and placed in the areas of thinning on the front, top or crown. The replanted hair will continue to grow for life. Transplant procedures normally executed using following methods:

1. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)
2. Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)
