Departure for a full day of discovering the famous Cape Wine Route. Cape wines enjoy a well established worldwide reputation, going as far back as the days of Emperor Napoleon. Visit Stellenbosch, the main town in the Winelands region. Founded in 1679, Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa, and prides itself with many old houses in the famous "Cape Dutch” architectural style. This historical city will charm you with its quiet and relaxed rhythm of life. Guided visit of the Village Museum. Lunch and wine tasting in one of the major wine estates of the region. Route toFranschhoek, the "French Corner". It is in this beautiful valley that French Huguenots - refugees in the Netherlands – settled in 1688, and started the wine producing industry with vine cultivars imported from France. Wine tasting. Route to Paarl, the cradle of the Afrikaner culture. Route back to Cape Town late afternoon. Stop at Century City, the biggest shoping mall in the Southern Hemisphere. Drop-off at the hotel.
