Coastal Cape Town Day Tour

About the product
Your adventure starts when we collect you from your accommodation. Our transport you in a air-conditioned vehicles. Your certified guide for the day is a mature Capetonian who has lived here for 37 years and loves to share his local knowledge with our guests. He is fluent in English, Afrikaans and German.

Our first stop is Table Mountain, a 5 minute cable car ride taking you to stunning views of Cape Town. There are a number of hiking trails to take before we set off for Simonstown.

On our way we drive along the famous Chapmans Peak Drive, claimed to be one of the most scenic in the world, stopping at look-outs to better appreciate those views. We drive past the Twelve Apostles and the best beaches in the Ca[e, places like Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay.

At Simonstown we explore the small town centre and visit the monument of Just Nuisance, there telling you the story of this unusual Great Dane. Then it is time for Boulders Beach and its colony of penguins. There's lots of opportunities to click away at these little black & white sea birds as they waddle along the beach and frolic in the bay.

At a Kommetjie settlement we stop for lunch. You may want to take a camel ride or explore the many little shops on the premises. There is even a maze to explore, should you wish.

Then it is off to the most South-Western point of the continent, the Cape of Good Hope, also known as Cape Point. Here you can walk up to the older and higher light house or take the funicular if you don't feel energetic. This takes you to the best point from which to take those amazing photos we see on post cards. You can also hike to the newer, lower light house, around the fynbos area or all the way down to the beach.

If the weather and time allows, we stop for bubbly-on-the-beach before delivering you safe and sound to your place of residence.
