The cold and harsh reality is that 85% of first year students studying towards a bachelor degree today, will end their studies. Most students end their studies due the financial burden associated with obtaining a degree/diploma, lack of academic preparedness as well as insufficient support from tertiary institutions. The 15% that do graduate, will in all likelihood start off their careers on a financial back foot, with a mountain of debt to settle. The facts are disheartening.
