We started Rush Sports in 2005 with the central focus to bring high end cycling brands into the South African market, and provide levels of service and after sales support not existent in the industry at the time. Fast forward a few years and we have certainly achieved what we set out to do, however we are nowhere near satisfied, nor anywhere near finished with our journey. Our business model is simple, source legitimate products, from reliable and established companies both locally and internationally and build strong customer relationships in order to create and establish ourselves and the products we represent within the local market place.

opportunity to question each and every aspect of the traditional business model. Yes, this means we are more prone to mistakes, but we do our very best to take these in our stride, accumulating valuable knowledge along the way. With cutting edge systems which we have developed entirely in-house, we have established business workflow systems simply not present within businesses of our size, let alone within the bicycle industry in South Africa. This has afforded us the opportunity to keep running costs at a minimum without sacrificing service delivery in any way, in-fact, if you ask our customers, they will likely tell you our service and delivery is better, more efficient and more consistent than any of our competitors, large or small.

Product plays a central role within our business, and our simple belief is that we cannot sell what we do not believe in, use or understand. For this reason ALL of our staff not only ride bicycles but live bicycles. We know and understand each any every intricate component in the industry we find ourselves in from the technical aspects of bicycle components themselves to the inns and outs of nutrition, training and effective bicycle setup. Whenever we find ourselves stuck we use it as an opportunity to learn and teach; we use the resources which are open to us to up-skill, and regularly spend time sharing this knowledge with our staff and our customers.
