JDL Electric was founded in 1980 as an electrical contracting company. After 11 years in the contracting sector, the directors decided to explore new options and started an electrical distribution outlet.
The result of this decision was that, in 1992, the new company, "Jade Lee Electrical Wholesalers" was established on Gallagher Road in Midrand, and we began trading from our modest 250m² premises with a staff complement of 8, one delivery vehicle and a proven advantage in the electrical sector based on experience and good service delivery.
As a result, the company grew from strength to strength. Through word of mouth our client base grew exponentially. By means of our customer-centric approach and service-oriented delivery, customers and suppliers developed trust in our business and

our service offering. We consequently established strategic and long-standing partnerships with electrical sector leaders.
Our subsequent growth is demonstrated by the fact that today we have a staff complement of more than 50, six delivery vehicles, and we have new premises that is testimony of our growth over the past two decades. These new premises are situated at 61 Fabric Park, Old Pretoria Main road, Midrand. We ascribe our success to the fact that we are serious about making a difference in our market and by offering our customers and suppliers professional and efficient service. We have a firm and fixed focus on customer satisfaction.
The true extent of our pledge towards customer care and service delivery is demonstrated by our trading hours. We trade from 07:00 to 17:00 Mondays to Fridays, saving our clients an hour, often wasted in travelling through the peak morning traffic, and 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays.
Our new 2 100m² premises is perfectly situated, and boasts a beautiful customer-friendly extensive show room with safe and ample parking. We continually strive for perfection to cater for the requirements and preferences of our customers.
