I took my new designer shoes to have the shoemakers to have the tiny soles replaced.
i have no issue with the heels being replaced once i got my shoe back upon further inspection i saw that one of my straps had been broken and it definitively was not broken when i took it in. these shoes cost me R 2 500 and to see this is extremely upsetting. Horrified!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. I got a total of 18 keys "cut". One COMPLETE set of six is a dud. Granted, the saleslady said that, if I needed any keys thinner, they would be done. One key unlocked the gate, but was VERY tight. Three didn't fit at all. One got stuck. The other didn't take at all. I will go back to Constantia this week, but why I didn't just walk to Olympic locksmith, I don't know. I reckon, at R35 a key, this IS DISGUSTING. Does this company train its staff? This is the 2nd return in 3 visits - not again. Pick n Pay should be ashamed to let its premise to this shoddy company. 6 keys, none which works, and you have taken my money. Shot!

I took my tall leather boots to be re-soled at the Constantia Village Barksole. The soles are rubber and had just begun to wear through and let in the Cape winter rain. Heels are still good. I was told they could not be repaired. I have had many pairs of similar boots repaired in the US. Very disappointing, and baffling.
