Yesterday i had a bad experience with one of your employees, but today i got someone who represents your company and was willing to go to an extend to apologise for her colleague. I really appreciate her treatment. She said her name was Nondumiso Ndwandwe. Very professional.

Complain
I've been paying for my policy since 2017 until now but I'm not covered on that policy im very disappointed on Sanlam I found out from 1of ur agents that I'm not covered,the first guy who made me join the policy it looks like he disappeared I don't have his contact anymore ????and his not updating me anymore regarding my policy. I'm very very ????not happy what if something happened to me!!!

Very disappointed I have surrendeed my policy, which I have payed more than 20 years started since 1997, and nothing paid to me as if there is no surrender value in it. Sanlam Sky seemingly is a scam, never trust this insurance company.

Fraud Be Aware!!!
They all of a sudden started deducting money from my account. After e-mails back and forth asking them to stop the debit order nothing has happened. I have never spoken to anybody asking for this policy or signed any documents. Be Aware!!!! Check you bank accounts.

I have the the same problem. I started by stopping it on my app for debit orders then I signed a form then boom I wake up with a deduction from them. It's not fair coz they are taking money that is not theirs.

Fradulent stop order
In February 2021 there was an unauthorized stop order of R399 on my payslip, I launched a dispute of which I sent affidavit, bank statement and payslip. I have not received any correspondence from Sanlam Sky with regard to this matter. You continued with unauthorized and fraudulent stop order in March, when i called i was told that you are still investigating the matter. This matter need to be concluded ASAP, and I wonder how many people are experiencing this crime.

Canceled debit order
I have canceled my debit order but my money is debited when I complained about a wrongful debit your advice was to transfer my to some department I've never heard of and waited for 30 minutes with out any response this is a shitty company I trusted you but u failing me and others

Fraud
Good day,

I signed up for a policy from one of your agents who visited our work place late September last year and he assured me the premium with the amount of R131will only be deducted at the end of February 2021. To my surprise, a premium was deducted from my salary at end of October an amount of R326 which was not part of our agreement or the amount that I signed up for anyway,same as November and December 2020.On my January payslip I saw the biggest shock of my life 2x polices went off one for R477????????

I am very disappointed with the experience I have had with you guys, promises have been made by many of your consultants “Sanlam Sky”with no resolutions.

Part Surrender
I have been submitting my Part Withdrawal which started in Nov of every year and Sanlam Sky keeps changing the dates to pay my money without even communicating with me (Policy Holder). It is now due on the 22 Dec 2020. When asking they tell me I submitted on those date which is not true. I do not understand why it would be processed that late.

It's impossible to communicate
I had to be put on the line for 20 minutes, whilst I am charged for the call and when the person answers he apologizes for the line breaking and request me to call back, when I call back he gives me another number to call. Why can't he call me back and stop wasting my time?

Refund / cancellation policy
I am trying to get information regarding multiple SKY policies and instalments linked to a Sanlam loan that had been settled YEARS (2015 to be exact!) ago. Not getting any joy , nor the courtesy of a reply !!
I am also not receiving assistance in cancelling this... surely I must be refunded for the years paid since settlement?

Struggle to get payment
Sanlam Sky is difficult for little payment such as refund. They'll just promise you that money is being processed,after three to four working days the money will be available into your account but you'll get nothing. You'll keep on calling until you get tired. I've made justice to myself to cancel the policy because i could see that I was going to struggle for money in times of claim.

My mother-inlaw passed away recently and belonged to an Eskom Voluntary Burial Aid Scheme. Trying to get answers from the various call centres, telephone operators and admin staff has been a long and frustrating experience. Calls are not returned and you are sent from department to department and person to person without getting anywhere.
No one knows which department administers the fund! Indifference runs through the organization and managers obviously do not test the effectiveness of their staff.
