KoelenRust Estate is a country house with a conference centre. It nestles in a lush garden amongst big trees in the Zwartkop valley close to the Cradle of Humankind, in the Muldersdrift area on the West Rand, Gauteng. The peace and tranquility will take you far from the city lights.

● The Lodge is situated on the western side of Johannesburg, in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble and adjacent to the Cradle of Humankind, a world heritage site, which offers numerous outings such as game drives and an array of outdoor activities in its wide open spaces.

KoelenRust Estate is an exclusive coountry house lodge for up to 30 people (sharing) or 15 single rooms, staying in country style cottages and rustic garden rooms. The conference room can accommodate up to 30 overnight delegates or up to 40 day delegates.

Relax with sundowners after a long day and enjoy an unforgettable braai or potjie in the large open air African Boma. We’ll make your perfect day complete by serving meals either in the boma where everyone can relax next to the open fire, or in the lapa next to the swimming pool. We also cater for small company functions and garden weddings.
