OOSTENBERG MUNICIPALITY - KRAAIFONTEIN - Kuils river

I just want to know how come the workers that's busy fixing the roads in Kraaifontein feels that they DO NOT have to wear masks AT ALL
It's sad to know that they will go home today and every other day not even knowing it and taking Covid with them just to get the rest of there family infected.Please can someone do something about this

On Wednesday,25 November'20(evening after 19h00) Kraaifontein municipality workers were in our street to fix a water problem (it was not logged by us), they asked if they could dig up our paving in front of our garage to fix the problem and said that the paving would be fixed the next day, but it was not done. On Friday, 27 November I logged an urgent request with the call centre for the paving to be fixed as it is very difficult for me to get in and out of our garage. It is now a week later and the paving is still not fixed. I spoke to the call centre again and they send another message for assistance, but was told there is nothing else they can do. I am unable to reach the municipality on their telephone line. What else should I do to get our paving fixed?

I phoned 8 times to get information about my electricity. Every time they pick up the phone and then just disconnect me. I cannot rate the service as I am still waiting to get service. I am still without electricity do to a municipal fault

I am very hsppy and impressed with quick response to my request yesterday at 11h00 regards to receiving my Municipality account via email.

I received it yesterday only half an hour after my request, at 11h34 per email. Thank you very much.

I have phoned several times to the one number provided on the internet. It has been weeks, and still I can not get through. Is there an email address where I can lodge my complaint?

Verwys na artikel in Tygerburger op 21 September 2016 waarin daar bevestig is dat daar gewerk word aan die aanstelling van kontrakteurs wat die parke en oop velde moet skoonmaak. Glo is daar alreeds vanaf 12 September mense aangestel, maar geen verandering in ons dorp. Ek het `n navraag geloods op 22 September op die Oostenberg website ******** wat net verander is na completed status. Ek het ook verskeie oproepe gemaak, met geen terugvoering.

Ek woon in Sederbergstraat Bonnie Brae Kraaifontein en daar is `n ontwikkeling wat sou plaasvind op die hoek van Bonnie Brae Laan en Sederbergstraat. Die hokke staan net so en die gras is al kophoogte. Lyk absoluut vieslik oral in die Kraaifontein omgewing. Nou vra ek wat gaan gedoen word aan die situasie. Waarvoor stem mens vir DA Gerhard Fourie en betaal ons munisipaliteit??? Kan jul asseblief aandag gee dat ons area en dorp beter lyk? DRINGEND!!!!

I visited the Kraaifontein municipality in April to submit building plans for alterations to my property. A few weeks later I was advised that I needed to obtain my neighbours approval, which I submitted in May 2016. The lady behind the counter was sullen and almost rude. This was contrary to my experience of the other people that assisted me previously. I called in June to follow up, my case was referred to another department. I called in July, I was informed that the case is pending. I called yesterday to be told the case was cancelled. It is now almost 3 months and I still do not have approval of my plans, despite having visited the offices 3 times, called more than 20 times. This is ridiculous!!

I visited the Oostenberg Municipality, Kraaifontein regarding building plans on 2 occasions. It was indeed a very pleasant experience to deal with such kind and competent people and I really have the need to compliment them on their excellent service. Well done!

Kuils River resident: 7 Bosch street. New water pipes were laid in our area and a section of tar pavement which I installed, was dug up with the promise that it will be replaced. It was replaced. Very poor workmanship, putrid quality, very poor quality product used.
