worst experience ever
I booked a Bus at translux offices Monday.. I payed by card (swiped)on sartuday I get notifications that translux is deducting money from my account went to the back they confirmed that they double charged me.

everytime money comes in my account they deduct if why i don't know.. even worse after so many working days how die they even get my card details?
you guys are crooks I want my money back please who even authorized you people to take money from my account? sies yall are fraudsters I want my money

Very very disappointed
My city to city bus from PE to Cape Town was delayed for 4 hours today,eventually when this bus arrived,,myself and another passenger was told the bus is full,,please come back tomorrow.
I'm so angry because I paid for my ticket and I'm gonna demand a full refund,,because its after 10pm when I had to turn around and leave,,the service is pathetic and we are not hitching a lift to Cape Town,,we pay.I would like to book with a reliable bus company.

Being charged for your luggage by the bus drivers
I am charged by the bus drivers for my 2 plate stove not even heavy so light over my sport bag ... the drivers told me I should pay R200 for my stove or else me and my young sister we should not enter the bus. What surprised me was when I told them I didn't know, I'm sorry and now I only have R100 for food on the way they said I should give them but not in front of people. They further threatened me that I should pay the remaining R100 when I get to knysna or else they will leave with it. The question that I was asking myself where am I gonna get the money when I get to knysna I even asked them and they said we don't know try people you know or else tell us to leave it here bcoz you gonna cost us our jobs we're just asking for R200 then everything is sorted. I went to the office to asked for that lady I brought tickets from for more explanation or just to keep it there until my boyfriend came to fetch it but the office was already closed. When we enter the bus they asked us " so it's you guys who bought the tickets here...you should've waited for us marn! Next time just wait for the bus and came and pay here!"

I took the bus today (24/1/2021) in Greyhund office in bellville to knysna it was departing at 19h45 (Translux) I am so hurt and so disappointed and my sister is dying of hunger already people are buying here in Worcester and I can't buy anything and I'm still stressing about the remaining amount I need to give them. They're 4 therefore I can't give them R100 as it seems.

Bus breaking down and can't fetch passenger due to covid 19 lockdown
Bus broke down and has a 4 and a half hours delay. Due to the inconvenience we tried to get a permit to fetch a family member from station cause we coming through from Middelburg to collect her but police refuse to give permit and told us to sleep in car till morning and its not right at all.

No customer service
The bus is more than 2 hours late and there is no response in all the customer care lines. This is really bad and rude. The City to City bus was scheduled to leave Grahamstown at 5h15 today the 9th of January 2021. The bus is destined for Cape Town. Why does this bus take people's money or they know that they are not able to operate efficiently. It should be banned.

Never ever will I Take this rubbish of a bus m going to Durban departure time was 8:30 it’s now 09:45 no bus at all no communication when I am call the customer service line there is no answer this is unacceptable

I have never in my life experiecend such a shirty customer service. My departure time as per my bus ticket is 23;15. I have been waiting for more than an hour and no communication what's so ever. Now I am stuck in Kimberley and they are not even answering calls.. seriously...oh wow

Shit service
The bus left 2 minutes before and the driver saw us coming but never waited coz we were stuck in a traffic. We called the customer centre which At first ddnt think it’s exist, the after several tries the lady pick up and I explained to her the situation and she was very rude and hanged up on me . I tried calling again for almost 20 times in 3 hours then another lady pick up and told me to go pay the penalty fee and fax the proof to her and call her back, which i did but the phone just rang and no one is picking up. Like what kind of a customer centre is this? It’s my first time using translux and I will never ever egain they can keep the money and their tickets.

Customer Care number does not get picked up
While I was making my booking, I was informed that the bus was 3 hours delayed and it was suggested (by the person selling me the ticket) that i make a booking with another company. That should have been my first warning sign.
It was a night bus and I wanted to take a nap before I left, so I tried calling the call center to find out how far the bus was. Well over 10 phone calls among 3 people later, no one had picked up. I then called the Greyhound call center number to get an alternative number for Translux and lo, they actually picked up.They gave me the same number, which still wasn't going through. In the end, I forfeited the nap and headed to the station.

Bookings dont know the busses they book for clients
I booked a ticket for my 27 y old daughter that just informed me that dhe was given a seat between 2 adult males( 21:40) bus from woester to potch. There is no toilet and she us totally afraid.. i tried phoning translux ( no help) im fucken upset and terrified for my child.
