Calibre Plastics (Pty) Ltd was established during 1963 in Johannesburg, South Africa by Mr Waldemar Kauerauf. Through experience and knowledge gained in the Tool & Die Making industry in Germany and exceptional service offered to customers Calibre Plastics have been supplying local and international customers for more than five decades.
Our Plastic Injection Moulding Machines, ranging from 40 Ton up to 1350 Ton clamping force, can mould parts up to 7kg in different plastic materials such as ABS, HDPE, LDPE, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and a variety of Synthetic Rubbers. Our skilled staff has a vast knowledge of the specific applications for the different materials and can advise on the unique qualities eg Density, Rigidity and Strength of a specific grade of

Calibre also has a well established CNC capable toolroom that specializes in the design and building of Plastic Injection moulds. Maintenance of tooling is done in-house and therefore quick turnaround times are possible.
Our warehouse is onsite and therefore quick and efficient processing of orders for delivery or collection can be done. We have over 2000m2 of warehousing space and all the necessary stock handling equipment.
