Accident on the 3rd of april
Im very angry with ctm truck drivers they think they own the street with thier so called mngmnt thier truck hit my car on the side while i was on the robort i asked the driver we go to police station and make a accident report he refused i followed him to his work to report the matter and the mngr came assured me tht my car will be fixed. Only to find out he just wanted to get rid of me i so hate ctm .the mngrs name is pule from ctm montana with his driver Bryton modau i want my car fixed my lawyers will deal with u bliv me you .this guys lile to take ppl for granted cos u black u cant do anything not this tym around. They shift the blame to say am the one who hit thier truck how stupid that mngr is have he ever saw a car driving by syd mxm

CTM Klerksdorp Tops
I bought tiles at CTM Klerksdorp in February 2022. Service and staff very competent and friendly. A month later, March 2022, the tiler had a problem as the batch of tile were not the same. Went to the store and met the manager Kgabo. Explained my dilemma, the next day he came to the site with Tiaan CTM employee whom knew the area were I live. Kgabo inspected the issue, and made a decision there and then. He also gave the tiler some great tiling tips. The different batch of tile were replaced the same day with cement and grouting. Well done Kgabo, CTM can be very proud of you representing the brand!!! You've got a customer for life!! Will definitely recommend CTM Klerksdorp for all building and renovation supplies. Thank you and keep up the good work and great staff!!!

CTM false advertising, and very dishonest and poor service
Multiple issues: 1. They advertised tiles at R 79/m^2 and when I go all the way to the PE shop a far distance to get them, they are also advertised on the walls, but they have no stock of it on the site. The next cheapest tile in stock is R100/m^2, a huge difference for a very poor person to afford. I paid in cash and left note left for manager that difference between the 2 prices must be credited to my account or refunded due to the false advertising.
3. The tiles were promised to be delivered the Friday and only arrived the next week Tuesday after numerous calls I made to hurry them on, while work at the site remained stalled.
3. The agent miscalculated the number of tiles and adhesives in the order.
4. I reported and left many messages for CTM on various social media and emails to contact me back or refer me to a higher platform that can resolve the issue. They ignored me.
5. Manager at PE shop contacted me eventually and brought more tiles at R79/m^2 in exchange for the unused R100/m^2 ones and promised to refund me the difference into my account. New tiles had a few cracked and broken ones in the packets and I was told the builders can bring them in and exchange them. Upon arrival, they were told I only had R 200 credit as opposed to R 2000 as promised and still could not complete the job. I left a follow up message with the manager who never replied.
I would advise people busy on big projects to not trust this company as they are dishonest and love wasting time, changing stories, and stealing money.

I’m utterly disgusted at the ctm pmb manager Thulani him & his stuff stole goods to da value of R8000 after I had purchased for R******** I have proof & I need assistance or I’m opening a criminal case against the store. He is unprofessional & an idiot

Delivery
THIS IS THE 2ND TIME AROUND AND CTM HAS THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE. THEY GIVE YOU A DATE AND TIME BUT NOTHING. TOOK TIME OFF FROM WORK AND IT IS NOW 16:50 AND STILL NO DELIVERY. SERIOUSLY!!! I NOW HAVE LOST A DAYS WAGES DUE TO YOUR DELIVERY TEAM.

PE branch
We bought tiles in the morning and asked for it to be ready when we fetched it later. 2 hours later nothing was ready for pickup. We explained that we had to travel far but they were dragging their feet and we had to wait even though we were the only customers

Broken third grade tiles
Attention queries department
I bought tiles at CTM south gate and the total amount was 5100.00
I requested to collect the tiles on the third day after my purchase. My sister collected the tiles but to her surprise she was told we did not buy first grade tiles because some of the tiles were broken and some of them were not in boxes. She asked them why they did not tell us that when we purchased them. There was no answer so I need to know what are supposed to do? These tiles were bought a few days before easter holidays this year. You can contact me at ********. I want to bring back the tiles what must I do?
If we wanted to buy broken tiles we would asked for broken tiles.
I cannot purchase new tiles and upon collecting I am told I bought third grade tiles.

Refund
I am now waiting 11 working days for the apparent 7 working days refund from CTM Edenvale. I phoned numerous times and get empty promises that I will get called, but no luck. Saturday I phoned but nobody could help. This morning I spoke to Bongi at 10h20 as she phoned Credit dept who was going the bank and was going to call me, but no call. I phoned again at 11h30 now she is busy with a customer and my number was taken once again. Is it really so difficult to refund my money?

You guys ruin my life and you are not taking me serious
In February this year they was a fraud ctm retail loan account was opened under my name. This matter was reported to fraud department. Since fisrt week of September they investigating till today.then told me that they will send me a letter showing that the account is fraud till today I haven't received the letter. It shows this people are not doing their work this account is really affecting me and you guys are not taking it seriously how can you approve a credit of R******** without investigating.How long should I wait until tgis account is been cleared.

Stole Laptop Bag at Dispatch | case no 102/12/2019 @ CTM Westgate
On 7 December 2019 at about 16h57, my husband and I came into CTM. This was the 2nd time that he had been at your premises on the said day. We bought supplies worth +-R18 000 and on the said day after he fetched me from work, we rushed to collect the tiles and other stuff and it was 16h58 we were in time before they closed. We parked not far from the dispatch parking and rushed in to collect. They then asked him to bring the car in reverse closer to the gate to load.
After the items were placed in the car that had my trolley laptop bag, we waited for invoice by dispatch however I was getting cold as it was cold and drizzling, I then ran to the car and they brought the Invoice to us.
Thereafter we got into the car and drove off. Upon arrival at home about 5 minutes since we had left CTM as we don’t stay far from there. I discovered that my bag had been taken.
The bag which was in the middle sit of the car. We immediately drove back to CTM to establish how the bag was removed from the car as there was no forced entry.
When we arrived there, we spoked to the staff at dispatch and they informed they didn’t see anything, and we requested to see the CCTV footage for the time we were there so we can see who opened our car and took the bag. We were taken to the Manager’s office Puseletso. It was shocking that dispatch stuff who were also packing other cars and the did not see anything and worse the Manager did not have the password to camera. It is also concerning that a junior staff member had the password and the said manager was not aware of it, as she asked her in front of us. (I quote in her own words “where did you get the password and how long has these camera’s not being working?”) I understand she is a new manager, but the cameras are in her office which clearly means that is not much of her concern.
This is a huge concern as it means that people who do not have authority are able to access such information and possibly delete recordings without anyone having knowledge of same.
It is now alleged that the cable to the camera was lose, when was this noticed? When was it reported? What interim safety measures were put in place to ensure the safety of your customers while this camera was subsequently “not working” due to a lose cable? Worse both dispatch cameras was not working at the same time at a most crucial area were stock is dispatch so proves its no concern wat goes out?
Surely a security check is conducted at least daily.
I hold the view that no one would have seen anything as this was an inside job.
Now I’m liable for laptop which is a company property and I work for a financial institute which obviously the information in there is confidential and my wallet which had everything I mean license, bank cards, ID and many more. I had a lot of stuff personal stuff.
While it has become apparent that your branch is not willing to take any form of responsibility for what transpired. I thought it prudent that I bring to your attention what is happening at this branch so that you are aware how your own staff members are putting clients at risk and hide behind disclaimers.

Disappointing service
Bought tiles at the porchestroom branch, had to order stock from vaal branch. Got stock on time. But i have asked numerous times for a detailed invoice with all my VAT. Details on but there is always a story not to beable to help me. Can i please get assistance ir must i review ctm on hallopeter!!!

CTM RUSTENBURG MUSIC
For the last 8 Saterdays or so we could not hear our own televisions in our house. Its becoming a big problem because I have to call them 4 to 5 times every saterday to tell them to turn down the volume. I have called customer care today to ask for help it was turned down and then all of a sudden 16:00 today 03 August the music is turned up again until 18:00 this cant go on like this. Do they even do business until 18:00 on a Saterday ? Every time I call I am told that the manager is not there. Now im asking myself how does the manager control his/her people.

Bad installation by CTM Tile Installer
Our property was built in the early 1900’s. We needed to put in new water pipes and thus the bathroom needed to be redone completely. Since we purchased tiles from CTM we decided to have a CTM Installer come and install the new tiles. What a disappointment! The gentleman (Charles) who came to quote insured us that the person that does mosaic tiles for him is most experienced and if we were not happy we could take it to CTM. The final product was quite a disappointment – visually it looked like it was done by an amateur. The edges of the mosaic tiles around the shower are so sharp they are bound to cut one if you dare to stand against it. Since I got no response from Charles after the grout/tiles needed to set and dry, I almost wanted to close my bathroom door and never make use of the room... Unfortunately our house only has one inside bathroom - I had no other choice but to continue the renovations. After a lengthy time of not being able to use the shower we had a shower custom made and while busy with that we discovered to our dismay that the tile work done on the shower is actually pathetic. Not only the aesthetics but the work under the surface also is questionable. This shower has NEVER been used and tiles are coming loose and chipping...It seems that the grout was not mixed according to the directions given on the bag. In fact the tile work is so bad there are empty spaces under the tiles. I contacted the Service Provider (GeoOp – Mobile Workforce Management) and asked that they please set up an appointment to have an Assessor come and assess the tile work done. They sent Charles... Charles persists that the person whom he brought to our property to do this tile work “is well experienced and has worked for him for a long time.” Charles did not want to put his assessment in writing and tells me that the tile job “looks like this due to skew walls”... I urgently want CTM to look at the photos and send an Assessor that is prepared to do an objective assessment. According to Charles he “is prepared to fix the corner of the shower floor” (were the hole is) and if other weak/bad places become visible, I “can call him to come and fix those problems as they arise.” This is not acceptable! CTM please send an Assessor so that the grout consistency as well as tile workmanship of this specific Installer can be investigated.
