After taking back several faulty ACDC LED down-light globes over 4 weeks back and being told i will hear from them in 4 weeks i decided to contact them today.
After speaking the the Germiston branch Manageress, i was promised that i will be contacted before the days out. Guess what. it never happened. This could be the reason why the floor staff don't do what they promise, why would they when management set the example.
The price up front might look fair, but the aftersales service is the pits. The good news is they can only get better, but i wouldn't hold my breath as it could be a very long time.
Not sure what is gonna happen when i want them to come out and check the poor quality of their light switched and how by touching the housing can turn on or off the lights. That will most likely be settled at the small claims court, with the globes. I will just separate the globes and switches so that i dont have to pay lawyer fees.
If only the system would allow for a zero star rating, 1 star is 1 star too many in my opinion

This company is the absolute worst to deal with. We tried purchasing a $45 USD part required for one of our units and pay for it with a credit card, they only accepted a wire transfer which we sent on Monday and here we are Friday without a release number. It took two weeks for them to get to this point. They couldn't even answer my questions during the same conversations in which they were asked, I always had to wait until the next day for an emailed answer. Very frustrating to deal with. We never give our customers such a hard time. Either you accept credit card payment or you don't. When the customer sends emailed proof from the bank, it's not trumped up it's legit and what accounting department does not pick up the phone and call the issuing bank? Anyone with half a brain knows when they're dealing with a bank. Long story short these people don't know customer service from their big toe.
